Founded in 1983 by Jack Taylor, PMP provides specialist engineering, rope access and confined spaces contracting services to utilities, civil engineering, power generation, process industries and the public sector.

Because of our extensive knowledge and experience in carrying out safe man entry in hazardous areas and in providing bespoke mechanical solutions in confined spaces, we are regularly consulted to find new and innovative solutions to difficult and unique engineering problems. We regularly undertake awkward 'one-off’ projects which require a high level of organisation and combination of skills to suit the needs of a unique problem.

Our offices and engineering workshops in Haslingden, Lancashire, are convenient for the M66, M60/M62, M65 and M6 motorways. Our engineering machine shop, extensive stores and large floor space with built-in craneage enable us to fabricate our own temporary works and plan work methods around engineering and cost-effective solutions.
