AMEX®-10 seals are made from stainless steel and EPDM for potable water and sewage pipelines, and from stainless steel and NBR for gas pipelines. AMEX®-10 seals have been independently tested and have been proven to have a life expectancy of more than 50 years. PMP holds key stocks of common sizes, whilst other sizes are manufactured to order. AMEX®-10 is a ‘No Dig’ repair solution eliminating the need for invasive repairs from the surface and is much more reliable than chemical repair solutions.

Because AMEX®-10 is a ‘No Dig’ repair solution it offers many environmental benefits. AMEX®-10 eliminates the need to the removal of excavated waste to landfill and for newly quarried materials for reinstatement following open cut works. As AMEX®-10 can usually be installed through existing manholes, disruption to surface operations is usually unnecessary, so there is no impact on traffic or to the public.
