Our engineers are qualified to work in confined spaces and some are IRATA (industrial rope access) trained, enabling us to use roped access to gain safe access to extremely difficult work areas where scaffolding or ladders could not be safely used.

We carry out equipment removal and structural repairs to masonry, concrete, steelwork and ironwork and install new and refurbished equipment in reservoirs, water treatment works and waste water treatment works. We also carry out on site works for process industries such as food manufacturers, paper mills and chemical plants.

Working closely with our client's designers, or subcontracting the design to a specialist designer, we can provide the design team with years of manufacture, fabrication and installation experience.

We have extensive manufacturing facilities at our workshops in Haslingden, and we can also manufacture and fabricate ‘on site’ where necessary.

We manufacture and install remote valve control systems for impound and service reservoirs to minimize the need for man entry access to valves into hazardous areas. We also manufacture and install debris guards for reservoir pipe inlets or outlets.

We manufacture and install access decking, fencing and handrails at reservoirs, water treatment works and waste water treatment works.

We carry out repairs to water storage tanks by plate welding over the affected areas and recoating the steelwork to specification.

We apply protective coatings to metalwork in reservoirs and to surface equipment at reservoirs, treatment works and in pipelines where safe man entry can be gained.
