Many
of the structures
used in the supply of potable water date back to the Victorian
era and the early part of the 20th century.
In many cases the original manufacturers have
gone out of business and many of the skills
used in their creation are not in mainstream use
today. These structures were often built to
a one-off design and replacement parts are not
widely available.
PMP’s team of engineers,
led by Sean Haynes, work with many of the leading
water utility companies and their framework
contractors to keep these facilities in first
class working order.
We can carry out detailed surveys of the existing
equipment and structures and fabricate replacements
using modern materials. Our workshops are fully
equipped with welding, cutting and finishing
equipment and we have work spaces big enough
to accommodate large scale fabrication works.
We can also test assemble components to plan
onsite assembly prior to going on site.
Where design is required, we work closely with our client's designers, or outsource to preferred specialst designers. Whether client or subcontract desined, we can provide the design team with years of manufacture, fabrication and installation experience.
